That’s not how Congress works. If I don’t like a law, first I have to call and pen my representative at the State and District level. I’ve done both of these innumerable times and never once I have received anything but an automated response, no matter how genuine or…

I’m not here to share disturbing footage of animal testing, neglect, abuse, and torture. I just want to remind all of you to please make an effort to buy cruelty-free when possible and remember what really goes on behind the scenes at companies that provide some of our basic necessities.

really though
if breasts, butts and legs are so distracting to men, to the point they cant function
why arent they that distracting to lesbians
and at that point
why isnt the penis bulge and legs not distracting enough to gay men to warrant men being put under the same dress codes
#spoilers: its because its bullshit
I don’t want to be sappy or anything, but I’m so glad I made a tumblr about six months ago. One of the best decisions. I’ve met so many awesome people on here. It’s just nice to know that there are other people who think like me. So thanks for having great, interesting conversations with me and consistently restoring my faith in humanity when everyone else tramples on it.

whatthefuckisfootball asked: You should definitely do a feature length film of you wearing said thing, I'd buy that shit on blu ray. (Also, in all seriousness, good venues/record stores in Boston?) ((Or even better, a newsletter like Park Ave in Orlando that sent out newsletters of upcoming shows at like every venue))
whatthefuckisfootball asked: Omfg wear the thing, I've always wanted to see Dana wear the thing
Anonymous asked: please you look so cool wearing it

May 22, 2013 (Alternet) | Californians Doug and Catherine Snodgrass are suing their son’s high school for allowing undercover police officers to set up the 17-year-old special-needs student for a drug arrest.
In a video segment on ABC News, they say they were “thrilled” when their son — who has Asperger’s and other disabilities and struggled to make friends...

satans-advocate said: ive got an electric trimmer that my dad shaves my head with. i love it. 30 bucks and free haircuts for the rest of my life.
Exactly! It’s definitely the way to go. I don’t understand why anyone with short hair would bother going to the salon and paying someone to do this.

satans-advocate said: do you do it yourself? ive been meaning to do it to myself someday but i always have someone else do it
Yeah, I shave my own head. It’s easy (and free). The only tricky thing is getting the hair around my two cowlicks. I have to go over the spot at every possible angle to get all the hairs.
Clippers are fairly cheap, too if you don’t already have some.

A student who was arrested and beaten for falling asleep at school is now suing an Alabama city, its police department and some school employees for civil rights violation, battery and negligent supervision and hiring. On May 1st, Cam was skipping school and messing around online. He posted some lyrics that included a vague reference to the Boston Marathon Bombing and called the Whitehouse a “federal house of horror.” Shortly after that he was arrested and charged with Communicating a Terrorist Threat, a felony that carries 20 years in prison.
The post contained no specific threat of...

Implied in this definition is the idea that the resulting value of the slave’s labor is also the property of the slave’s owner. A slave is coerced into working with no right to remuneration for his work.
If this is the case, how is the government not a slave owner? The government claims first rights to the fruits of our labor via income tax....

The state meters out “progress” so as not to upset the status quo. Like letting people vote. Wow, what an amazing gift from the government! Today, even women and people with black skin can help white males pick who is going to rule us from a pre-selected list of candidates. It’s like feudalism, but with one or two more options. Now that’s what I call progress.
